Defensive block — low / mid / high

The height of the defensive line on the pitch. Determines how much space you concede and where you want to win the ball.

How it works on the pitch

Low block: defends near your own box, concedes possession but shuts down useful space (hard to break, dangerous on the counter). High block: advanced line compresses the opposition but leaves space in behind. Mid-block: middle ground — waits for the opposition in the halfway line.
